All Summer...

I've been thinking for a while about my first post. I wrote a couple drafts last night, but ended up deleting all of them! But today as I was "googling" for cute buttons to put in my blog I found this, which basically says it all. I have probably repeated those exact words more than 100 times this summer. I've said them to my husband, family, friends ... basically everyone who I've had a conversation with. They all say "Take a break", "You are obsessed", and my ultimate favorite "Workaholic!” I'm so glad someone else thinks or feels the same way. It really makes me smile ;-)

If you haven't drawn any conclusions yet. Yes, I have been working all summer. I worked in a summer program, which started one day after the last day of school and lasted until this Wednesday. That doesn't sound too bad, until I tell you that I start professional development on Monday, and school starts the following week. Yikes!!! Needless to say I've been in my pj's watching Grey's for the past two days.

Working the summer was actually not too bad (except for the fact that I never got to sleep in!). I actually enjoyed working because it gave me the opportunity to slave away in my room pretty much every afternoon. So while all of the teachers started to arrive last week to start their rooms, I am proud to say I am done! Well, are you really ever done? Ahhhh! I hope now that my room is super cute and organized "the rest of my year will go smoothly".
